Palmer Cox's Brownie books are richly illustrated not just with large panoramic illustrations, but with smaller vignettes that are woven into and around the text... little scenes like this one, full of incident. And so I am thinking more and more that these cards need to have little incidental Brownies adorning them, perhaps standing on or beside the card titles, perhaps peeking in from beyond the borders. This, however, is definitely a job to save for last -- something to do when all the basic cards are done and being finalized. So really, a card like this is not yet "done" ... it's just settled and waiting for the finishing touches. I still have quite a long way to go before I'll be ready to add in all those little "finishing Brownies"...
