Both of today's cards seem to be about lighting that proverbial candle instead of cursing the darkness. One thing I've learned over the years as a "creative worker" (something like a sex worker, I suppose, except that we don't have to take off our clothes, thank goodness) is that Inspiration doesn't come to you. You can't wait for Inspiration to happen -- you have to work for it. Even then, it doesn't always work out. The fire that you build can sputter and burn out as easily as it can burn brightly... and most often what you get is something in the middle ground that gets the job done and not much else.
