When The Brownies need a lift, they have a whole bestiary of creatures from Mother Nature to rely upon. Indeed, among the commonest of Palmer Cox's gags involved The Brownies attempting to hitch a ride on any number and kind of creature from land, sea and air. No doubt we will see them trying to commandeer a horse or a bear or something else between now and the time when the deck is finished.
The "proverbs" cards are nearly all done now; only a couple remain. There ought to be less than twenty of them when all is said and done. Just about right for my purposes...
